October 12, 2016 - Michael Salinger

Here we go again!

Sara and my school year kicks off for earnest tomorrow with a visit to McKinley Elementary School in Elyria Ohio.

This is on the heels of our visit to Bellingham Washington – just North of Seattle – and our presenting at and attending of Western Washington University and Pomelo Books amazing Poetry Camp. Shout out to Janet Wong, Sylvia Vardell, Nancy Johnson and Sylvia Tag!

To celebrate a new season – Sara and I have made an anchor chart of useful poetry editing tips – a sort of checklist that may be downloaded. The full-sized version is at our website as a link off of our Poems for Your Classroom page  or by clicking underneath the image below. It’s ready to print on A3 paper. Feel free to download, share and print it off!

See you in the classroom!
