What we do is team with teachers and administrators to adapt and implement effective and creative approaches to literacy and content area instruction in order to help them achieve their literacy goals. We teach writing by essential element – this way our lessons can either stand alone or dovetail into any writing program already implemented whether workshop, six traits etc.

Combination Days
Because we are published authors of poetry and fiction for kids and adults and professional books for teachers, we are able combine these talents and customize visits to include both assemblies for kids and a workshop for teachers perfectly suited for early dismissal, professional development days.
International Schools
International Schools
We have visited over 75 international schools in over 50 countries and have experience working with IB, PYP, MYP, and all common writing programs. We have returned to work at several schools and have worked for the same administrators in multiple locations. We can work with all your students grades Pre-K through 12 helping to develop their writing and public speaking skills. Sometimes we visit schools as a visiting author, sometimes as a professional development consultant, but usually we make our visit a combination of both.
